The Lee Reservoirs, that include Inniscarra and Carrigadrohid lakes, cover 14km2 of open water and contain a wealth of coarse fish. The reservoirs are now considered to have the best mixed coarse fishing in Ireland.
With Bream, Hybrids, Roach, Rudd, Carp, Perch and Pike to specimen weights, it is an angler’s paradise. Not only are there big fish but the catch sizes are often very large, with bags over 200lbs common. There are many accessible points where fish are ready to catch and with the coarse fishing world championships proposed for the lakes very soon, it certainly is an angling Mecca.
Permit fees are very affordable with all revenue being reinvested in the fishery for the benefit of anglers. The fishing has improved every year since 2000, and with excellent fisheries protection, the resource is well looked after. We have Ireland’s best angling guides available should you need them, self catering cottages, food and drink.

Coarse Angling Package on Lee System (3 days & 5 days)
You will experience angling in Ireland’s premier coarse angling system. The Lee has a huge wealth of coarse fish species to very large specimen weights. Bag weights in excess of 150lbs are often encountered. Day 1 will put you on the top of the system on Lough Allua where mixed bags of bream, roach, rudd and perch can be captured in stunning scenery and quiet seclusion.
On the second day you will experience some of the best the Lee system has to offer on Carrigadrohid Reservoir where some true monster fish can be captured. The angling is best in the evening so angling will commence in late afternoon and run until midnight. The fishing can only be described as spectacular. Here you can expect to catch large roach, hybrids, rudd and bream.
On day three you will fish the lower dam known as Inniscarra. This is a real bag up venue for quality roach and bream. The tip will wrap around all day long and in the beautiful valley far away from the hustle and bustle of busy modern life, relax and enjoy quality angling with a group of friends. Not only that you will have some of Ireland’s greatest anglers at your side to help you in the right direction.
For the five day packages you can choose extra days on any of the above venues.
Bass & Pike Angling (West Cork – 2 & 3 days)
This is a very exciting package where we will bring you to west Corks finest small pike angling venues. Some truly magnificent pike can be captured. This will involve boat angling with a guide. On the second day you will go bass fishing on some of west Cork’s premier bass beaches where you will cast into surf and estuaries. On day three you can have the option of angling for golden grey mullet, grey mullet and thin lipped mullet species where you can watch large shoals patrolling the margins of our beautiful estuaries or continue bass or pike angling. The choice is yours.
